Dwayne Johnson's 'Relentless' Response to Hollywood Walk of Fame Induction

Actor, producer and former WWE wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on December 13.

Congratulations to Dwayne Johnson. We predict that his star will be a very popular one to visit on our famous walk.

"We envision scores of photos being taken at his star by his fans", she added.

The announcement comes two weeks before his latest film, Jumani: Welcome to the Jungle, gets released on December 20, which stars him, Jack Black and Kevin Hart. "This past year, Johnson starred in Paramount's "Baywatch" and Universal Pictures" "The Fate of the Furious", the 8th installment of the successful "Fast and Furious" franchise. "See everyone there! Tequila on me". Joe: "Retaliation", the dramatic independent film "Empire State", "Pain & Gain", alongside Mark Wahlberg, "Fast 5" and "Fast and Furious 6", which grossed a combined for $1.4-billion globally.

The Rock has indeed given great contributions to the Hollywood film industry in recent years, starring in high-budget movies that consistently top box offices worldwide.

The Rock made guest appearances on television shows during most of his early acting career, but The Great One made his first appearance in a major film as The Scorpion King in The Mummy Returns in 2001.

Besides the flicks, the Rock also stars in HBO's Ballers, which is produced by his own Seven Bucks Productions.

Johnson is cementing his status as a Hollywood star - literally. In 2011, he returned to wrestling again, fighting five times over the course of two years.

Before The Rock broke into Hollywood, he rose to fame as a WWE superstar during the Attitude Era as the primary rival to Stone Cold Steve Austin.
