LiAngelo, LaMelo Ball Sign With Lonzo's Agent, Will Play Overseas

While his oldest son struggles with his shot as a Los Angeles Lakers rookie, LaVar Ball is struggling just to find a team to take his other two sons LiAngelo and LaMelo.

Meanwhile, Bruins Coach Steve Alford said he has yet to speak with the Balls since LiAngelo left the program earlier this week. 'I want them to go somewhere where they will play them together on the court at the same time. Ball had been committed to UCLA, like his two brothers, but the 16-year-old now has his sights set on professional basketball elsewhere after signing with 28-year-old agent Harrison Gaines, whose story is detailed by Sports Illustrated here.

LiAngelo Ball and fellow freshmen basketball players Cody Riley and Jalen Hill created an worldwide incident that eventually involved President Donald Trump.

LiAngelo recently left UCLA, as LaVar was frustrated with the Bruins' unwillingness to inform his son how long his indefinite suspension would be.

"I don't care about the money", LaVar Ball said in an interview with ESPN.

If LiAngelo does not play overseas he could play in the NBA's developmental league, the G-League, and enter into the 2018 NBA Draft since he is now 19.

Considered the lowest-rated recruit of UCLA's freshman class, the 6ft5 LiAngelo was given three out of five stars on ESPN's college basketball recruiting page, which criticized his lack of lateral quickness and overall defense.

Earlier this week, Lavar Ball had said LaMelo Ball would still play for UCLA, but Thursday morning, he said LaMelo Ball will not play college basketball. "I'm letting Harrison handle all that, but I know there are a few teams interested. The priority is for the boys to play on the same team".
