David Cassidy Cuts Daughter Katie Out of His Will

David and Katie (who now stars on the TV series "Arrow") had a complicated relationship - she was raised by her mother, former model Sherry Williams - and David told PEOPLE in 2009, "Because I didn't raise her, I didn't have to parent her".

While he acknowledged that Katie was his daughter in the legal docs, he stated, "It is my specific intent not to provide any benefits hereunder to Katherine Evelyn Cassidy and/or any descendent of Katherine Evelyn Cassidy".

Cassidy died in November at age 67, days after being hospitalized and experiencing organ failure.

The publication revealed that Cassidy chose to not leave anything to his daughter, Katie, perhaps due to their strained relationship.

Remaining "music memorabilia" was designated to David Cassidy's three half-siblings, according to The Blast.

David Cassidy has left the majority of his estate to his 26-year-old son, Beau, with his actress daughter, Katie Cassidy, being left completely out of his will, it has been reported. David and Sherry never married, and five years after Katie was born, he had son Beau with third wife Sue Shifrin.

David told People in February that he "never" had a relationship with his daughter. She was raised by her mother, with David telling People magazine in 2009, "Because I didn't raise her, I didn't have to parent her". Despite the distance between them, the "Flash" star recently revealed her father's last words will inspire her throughout the rest of her life. "She's very talented. It's hard for me to even accept how old she is now, like 30".

She showed their reconciliation and mourned his death on Twitter last month.

Katie did, however, make an appearance on a 2011 episode of "The Celebrity Apprentice" to support her father who competed on the reality TV series' fourth season.

In a tweet after her father's passing, Katie Cassidy thanked fans for their well wishes and also revealed that Cassidy's final words were, "So much wasted time".
