New Metro: Exodus trailer surfaces, release date set for Fall 2018

The desperate survivors who cling to existence beneath the surface in the ruins of the Metro have long given up hope of a life beyond Moscow. all except for one. While its fall 2018 debut is some time off, the game has received a new trailer as a part of The Game Awards 2017, providing a better look at its world through new in-engine footage.

At the Game Awards earlier today, developer 4A Games released a brand new trailer of its upcoming Metro game, Metro Exodus. The first person shooter takes place in a post-apocalyptic Moscow, in the year 2036.

Inspired by the novels of Dmitry Glukhovsky, Metro Exodus continues Artyom's story in the greatest Metro adventure yet. With a date set in mind, we should finally hear more about the survival/horror game in the coming months.

A Beautiful, Hostile World - Discover the post-apocalyptic Russian wilderness, brought to life with stunning day / night cycles and dynamic weather. The original trailer showed off a warmer climate and also featured some enclosed areas, the new one shows off a chilly winter environment and a sprawling abandoned city. They've also confirmed that the game is due to hit PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Fall 2018.
