A Third Woman Has Accused Dustin Hoffman Of Sexual Misconduct

In early November, a woman named Anna Graham Hunter came forward with allegations that she had been sexually harassed by Dustin Hoffman as a 17-year-old intern while working on the 1985 TV film Death of a Salesman.

Rossetter said it was "a horrific, demoralizing and abusive experience at the hands (literally) of one of my acting idols".

Baldwin then appeared to offer some sympathy to Hoffman, noting that the encounter he had with his accuser happened during a time when "sexualized by-play" was commonplace, although it was still "wrong".

Rossetter is one of several women to accuse Hoffman of sexual misconduct in recent weeks.

Rossetter alleged that from there Hoffman would behave inappropriately during almost every performance, at times grabbing her breasts or groping the inside of her thighs.

"When we stepped into the room, he jumped on the bed and said, "Give me a back rub". He took off his shirt, according to Rossetter, and she gave him what she called a "very lame rub" until the hotel maid walked in on them.

"Rossetter writes that Hoffman had a reputation for being a jokester", which is how he played off these occurrences.

She said Hoffman made a habit of putting his hand under the slip and onto her inner thighs - and once touched her genitals - during their scene together. I was completely surprised and tried to bat him away while watching the stage for my cues. "After the show he was busy with the producer and director so I had no access to him to address it".

"Only by luck do I have one such picture - where the camera caught him in the act", she added. "Night after night I went home and cried", Rossetter wrote. "I withdrew and got depressed and did not have any good interpersonal relationships with the cast", she wrote. Was I doing something?

"Talk shows were once promotional pit stops for some blithe chit chat about movies, etc.", he posted on Twitter.

Ms. Rossetter said Mr. Hoffman also had a ongoing gag of groping her breasts right before a picture was taken. I couldn't speak to him in the moment because I was on a live mic. Her guest column included a photo of Hoffman with his hand on her chest.

The groping off stage continued.

Rossetter alleged Hoffman repeatedly groped her, and even inserted his fingers inside her vagina, during the Broadway revival of Death Of A Salesman in 1983.

"I have the utmost respect for women and feel awful that anything I might have done could have put her in an uncomfortable situation", he said in a statement.

Hoffman, 80, was recently confronted during a Wag the Dog anniversary panel by moderator John Oliver, who expressed dissatisfaction with the actor's statement - specifically Hoffman's claim that the allegations made by Hunter were "not reflective of who I am".

Oliver was hosting a panel discussion in NY to mark the 20th anniversary of Hoffman's film Wag The Dog.

"I would not have made that movie if I didn't have an incredible respect for women", Hoffman said.

"But as I write this, Dustin still seems immune", she concludes.
