Lil Peep's Death Confirmed To Be A Result Of Fentanyl & Xanax Overdose

Tucson police said Ahr was found dead on his tour bus ahead of a scheduled concert at The Rock, 136 N. Park Ave.

The 21-year-old rapper's death on his tour bus prior to a November 15 concert in Tucson was certified as accidental, according to a news release from the Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner. In all, he tested positive for cocaine, marijuana, and the painkiller Tramadol in his blood, with his urine testing positive for all of those drugs plus a few opiates, including Hydrocodone, Dilaudid, and Oxycodone among others.

Lil Peep, real name Gustav Åhr, had no alcohol in his system at the time of his death. Lil Peep reportedly went for a nap around 5.45pm and when his manager checked on him he was sleeping and breathing normally.

The manner of death is certified as accidental.

"We have heard there was some sort of substance he did not expect to be involved in the substance he was taking", the rapper's brother, Oskar Ahr, told People last month. 'He was super happy with where he was in life'. He was helping people, he was not somebody who needed help.
