Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo crowned victor of I'm a Celebrity 2017

Georgia Toffolo aka Toff had always been one of the favourites to win the show after winning over viewers with her bubbly personality and toughness during Bushtucker trials.

Scarlett was also a little-known star before I'm A Celebrity having only appeared on Gogglebox, but since her jungle victory, she's had a role on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, replaced Davina McCall as the presenter of Channel 4's revived Streetmate and been a co-host on I'm A Celebrity's Extra Camp.

The 23-year-old had been odds-on favourite to win the show, but admitted she was shocked to win.

And when she managed four out of five stars, while it may not have quite satisfied Toff, it certainly did viewers, to the extent that the phrase YES TOFF was soon trending on Twitter, amid numerous salutes to female power...

The Made In Chelsea star, 23, could not contain both her shock and delight as she was announced the victor, after receiving the majority of more than nine million votes cast - leaving actor Jamie Lomas in second place.

From a clip of Meryl Streep's exuberant reaction to Patricia Arquette's equal pay speech at the 2015 Oscars, to images from Beyonce's Run the World video - social media went wild for the royally good reality star. Obviously I didn't think anyone would like me.

Toffolo said she was overwhelmed by the result and thanked the public for voting for her ahead of her fellow finalists, actor Jamie Lomas and comedian Iain Lee. Sorry I'm so taken aback. Get Me Out Of Here! but her future could take a serious turn.

"Seriously, who the hell is voting for Jamie?!" It's girls like you that make me feel so proud to be a young woman. "She's incredible, she got stuck in, she's intelligent, and she really deserves it", the former Hollyoaks star said.
