Sheldon Richardson, Quinton Jefferson Ejected After Scuffles vs. Jaguars

Two Seahawks players were ejected, including Quinton Jefferson who got into a verbal altercation with several Jaguars fans on his way out.

In an attempt to force a bad snap Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett rolled into the leg of Jaguars center Brandon Linder.

The next play was even worse after Quinton Jefferson was ejected for unnecessary roughness, but then tempers flared as he had words with multiple Jaguars fans that nearly led to him jumping into the stands. Jefferson became upset when fans tossed drinks at him as he walked toward the stadium tunnel. He was ejected and got into an argument with Jacksonville fans on his way to the locker room.

Tempers flared in the final minute when a small melee broke out between two Seattle defensive linemen and Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette.

Jefferson tried to climb into the stands, but was pulled back onto the field by Seahawks staff and security personnel, after getting hit with what looked like a plastic bottle.

Seattle leads the league in penalties with 9.5 per game, and it was an unfortunate way for an otherwise competitive game to end.

In all fairness to Jefferson, fans think because they buy a ticket it gives them the right to say and do whatever they want, and that kind of behavior is unacceptable.
