Rain Likely For Sunday Morning

Rain Likely For Sunday Morning

Some lingering sprinkles are possible throughout the day, but overall Sunday will be a fairly cloudy day.

Tonight, cloud cover will increase from the southeast and temperatures will be chilly, just not as chilly as the previous night. Mostly cloudy Friday, highs in the upper 60's, falling afternoon temperatures.

Sunday will begin chilly and cloudy. The rain will continue into the evening and could be mixed with a few wet snowflakes as the night goes on. Overnight, lows will come down only to the mid-40s with skies continuing to clear. High temperatures on Saturday will be in the low 60s. Expect a mostly sunny sky, and a big boost in temperatures this afternoon. Highs hit the middle to upper 40s through Thursday. Lows tonight drop to around 20 degrees. Aside from being a few degrees warmer, Tuesday will be very similar to Monday with more clouds than sun and mostly dry conditions. The chance of rain looks to hold off until after midnight, but lasts throughout the morning on Sunday.

A second disturbance will move in during the Monday/Tuesday period bringing us scattered rain chances those days as well. Temperatures are tad milder in the lower 40s.

As you get up and around for the start of this weekend it will be a bit cold outside with temperatures in the mid-30s, but a much better day is in store across the Commonwealth. For Wednesday, another cold front approaches and will kick off some rain and snow showers. Skies will remain mostly cloudy for the afternoon with highs in the low to mid 50s.
