Arsenal Ready to Return for Lemar, Gunners 4/1 to Seal Deal

Monaco head coach Leonardo Jardim has conceded that the club may well be presented with an offer for Arsenal and Liverpool target Thomas Lemar that they can not resist.

The 21 year old French worldwide has been one of the hottest prospects in world football and both Arsenal and Liverpool are looking at him to fill voids in their squads.

According to the Daily Mail, Premier League sides Arsenal and Liverpool are both reportedly interested in the French global.

The Gunners tried and failed with a £90million bid for the Frenchman on deadline day which scuppered Sanchez's move to the Etihad.

The Reds have even explored the possibility of trying to sign Naby Keita six months earlier than expected - something that his club RB Leipzig are determined not to let happen.

The Liverpool striker has had to make do with a bit-part role this season and though the likes of Southampton and West Ham United are said to be sniffing around, Tuttosport claim Sturridge is interested by Internazionale.

Liverpool are leading the race to sign Monaco winger Thomas Lemar over the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea because of Philippe Coutinho's £142million move to Barcelona.

"You know the problem with the transfer window", he said in a press conference when quizzed about Lemar's future at Monaco.

"But the month is long and many things could happen".

The previous price in the summer was widely quoted to be around £90m, however, the Mirror are citing reports from Liverpool Echo that claim Monaco have now dropped their asking price to around £61m.

The Hammers could miss out on the 26-year-old, though, after Valencia made a £12m offer. If I stay here for 10 years I want Lemar to stay with me for 10 years. "He's got a lot of qualities and I like him a lot".
