Ellen DeGeneres pays tribute to late father Elliott who died aged 92

Our hearts are with Ellen and her family.

Ellen DeGeneres has confirmed that her father, Elliott DeGeneres, has passed away at the age of 92. "In addition to what's going on in Monetico, I lost my dad this week", the host said (via Us Weekly) while referring to the Santa Barbara mudslide. "That's my dad Elliot", she said of the black-and-white shot. "He was 92 years old".

'He lived his life exactly how he wanted to. He had a good, long life, ' she informed the crowd. He was Christian science his entire life. Never went to a doctor. We never had a vaccination. We never had medicine growing up.

According to DeGeneres, the passing of her dad was not unexpected.

This week, at the age of 92, my father Elliott DeGeneres passed away.

The talk-show host added that her family only took one vacation - when she was little, the family visited the Warner Bros. lot, where DeGeneres now films her talk show. Studios and highlighted the rainbow she captured in her shot. "I was leaving the building, and I looked back and there was a rainbow over the Warner Bros. studio".

"My dad was very proud of me". "Now I work on the Warner Brothers lot and I have my own stage with my name on it, so he was really proud of that", she said. You do awesome work for people but also for animals. He loved the show.

"I'm so sorry for your loss".

When DeGeneres was a child, her father took her and the rest of the family to the Warner Brothers Studio's because he "loved this business" and loved the fact that his daughter is such a star within it.

"Jerry Lewis was a comic and philanthropic icon". He loved that I was in it.

"Here's the thing. I talked to Ellen DeGeneres last night ... and she asked if I was in NY and I saw I was doing The Tonight Show, and she said she wasn't comfortable with me doing other talk shows", Notaro joked in her hilarious, deadpan style. Share it in the comment section below.
