Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's India visit from Sunday

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani told reporters that Netanyahu will hold a roadshow with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Ahmedabad on Jan 17.

Yair and his friends are also heard talking about strippers and how much money they spent.

Netanyahu's wife Sara will accompany him.

Yair has drawn media criticism for living a life of privilege at the taxpayers' expense and for crude social media posts.

Yair Netanyahu later issued an apology saying that the remarks did not represent the values he was raised on and that they were made under the influence of alcohol. The first was Ariel Sharon in 2003 when the BJP-led government was in office.

Ahead of the visit, Israel's Ambassador to India Daniel Carmon said, "The Prime Minister's visit to India is the grand finale to the celebrations of 25 years of Growing Partnership between India and Israel".

The premier will travel with 130 businesspersons from his country. Netanyahu explained in Jerusalem on Thursday that the two may meet before March.

Bhaskar said the ties between the two countries have been expanding in the areas of agriculture, water, innovation, entrepreneurship development, space, education, culture, homeland security and defence.

On January 15, Netanyahu will meet with the Indo-Israeli CEO forum here and address a separate business event. In Ahmedabad, he will visit Sabarmati Ashram.

In Gujarat, the two prime ministers will visit the Center of Excellence in Vadrad and inaugurate a Center of Excellence for date palms in Bhuj via video conference. The first time was in February of 2017.

The Mumbai leg includes Netanyahu's film industry outreach - Shalom Bollywood, an interaction with the Jewish community and a meeting with business heads.
