The weather service reported snowfall amounts of 0.8 of an inch in Hastings, 0.2 of an inch in Greeley, 1.8 inches in Kearney area, 0.8 of an inch in Osceola and an inch in Ravenna. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 6. There will be areas of dense fog after 9 p.m.

Tonight Rain and snow before 2am, then snow likely, possibly mixed with freezing rain between 2am and 3am, then snow likely after 3am. Lows will fall down to 30 degrees. That follows a general warm-up in the region, with Bemidji hitting 33 degrees on Tuesday.

The Upper Dublin School District in Montgomery County dismissed students beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Streets and roadways were slick in the Topeka area, and numerous accidents and slide-offs had been reported by 9:30 a.m. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Blowing snow was reported Thursday morning in northwest Oklahoma. Low around 3 below. Northwest winds will be 15-20 miles per hour with gusts as high as 30 miles per hour. Temperatures this week will be a lot more moderate than last week, but moisture has returned to the atmosphere - bringing with it an increased chance of rain.

The National Weather Service calls for possible frozen precipitation, with sleet or snow, and accumulations up to an inch. Night: Cloudy with a 80 percent chance for snow.

Partly cloudy, with a low around 35. Wind chill values as low as 26 below. High: 47. Wind: N 10 miles per hour. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 67. Very windy, with a south southeast wind 14 to 19 miles per hour becoming north 27 to 32 miles per hour after midnight. Partly sunny, with a high near 51.
