Wilson has been accused of firing a shotgun multiple times at KPD officer Jay Williams Thursday night during a traffic stop on Washington Pike.

Wilson's father, Ronnie Wilson, said officers came to his house on Thursday night to ask questions.

On Friday, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation added Wilson to its Top 10 Most Wanted List, and is offering a $2,500 reward for information that leads to his capture.

KPD Chief David Rausch said Wilson is known to the department.

Authorities recovered what is believed to be Wilson's vehicle early Friday.

Wilson fired at the officer while in his auto, and then got out and continued firing, Rausch said.

Police said Ronnie Lucas Wilson is armed and unsafe. Wilson is wanted by the Knoxville Police and the TBI to face a charge of attempted first degree murder of a police officer.

Law enforcement agencies across the state are still searching for Wilson.

An East Tennessee man is at large after shooting at a police officer.

Officer Williams was transported to UT Medical Center to treat a gunshot wound to the shoulder, where he was later released Friday morning.

The Aryan Nations is the largest white supremacist prison gang in Tennessee, according to the Anti-Defamation League. He was sentenced to three years in state prison after being convicted of aggravated burglary in 2011, the outlet said.

"If you see this vehicle, if you know this individual, do not try to intervene", Rausch said. "If he is going to take a shot at an officer, he's not going to hesitate to shoot at anyone else".

"It borrows its name from the older neo-Nazi group of the same name but is a completely separate group", according to the ADL.
