Christian Pulisic Net Worth 2018: How Much Is Soccer Player Worth?

Manchester United are keeping a close eye on Liverpool's interest in Dortmund star Christian Pulisic and will move for the American winger if Jurgen Klopp's side submit an offer, reported.

A particularly interesting factor in any potential transfer for Pulisic is his marketability. Despite Pulisic's production, which earned him US Male Player of the Year honors, the US failed to qualify for the World Cup for the first time since 1986.

Still, Pulisic has the upside to become the most talented and productive player in USMNT history, as least to this point.

Obviously Pulisic wouldn't be the player he is today if he had not gone to Germany to focus on soccer at such a young age, but it's a bit of a reach to completely disregard all of Pulisic's growth that put him in the position to go overseas in the first place just to take an easy swipe at U.S. Soccer.

Playing for Dortmund, by contrast, has afforded him a welcome degree of normalcy, he revealed: "I've come into a bigger role with the national team in the USA, but I think the environment I'm in here definitely helps. If I do that, I should have a good future'". Pulisic scored his third goal of the season to complete the move and secure Dortmund's second consecutive win under new coach Stoger, who was brought in to relieve Peter Bosz.

United chiefs are big fans of the 19-year-old and believe he could be a big success both on and off the pitch for the club, similar to Paul Pogba. Today, Man Utd are linked with Christian Pulisic... I'm learning a lot: "tactically, technically, gaining strength".

"Of course I always dream big, but I don't put a plan out for myself", he says, deflecting talk of a move.

"I played one year of competitive basketball actually". He just has one or two touches and wouldn't be right.

It makes sense for clubs like Manchester United and Liverpool, both of which have American ownership, to look to Pulisic to increase their bottomline, but at the end of the day, it's his vast skill and potential that has him in this position.

His emergence as arguably the best-ever US player will see him outgrow the confines in northwest Germany some time in his early 20s, at the latest.
