Dark Souls Remastered Coming To All Major Gaming Platforms

Well, it looks like these fans may be in luck, because a remastered version of Dark Souls is heading to the Nintendo Switch at long last, while also arriving on the rest of the usual consoles like PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 25th. For example, mixing a water and ice ability will allow you to shoot icicle spears.

Even better, being on the Switch means that TWEWY's unique touch-based controls remain intact.

Everything shown today is slated to arrive on Switch within the next few months, painting a good picture of what we can expect from the first half of 2018. On the Switch version, you can use the joycons motion controls to affect the pitch of the songs, while also utilizing the HD rumble. The full game will be released on February 9th in the American and European territories.

The story mode will include a host of single-player missions and boss battles, as well as new gameplay tweaks.

Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition will also be coming to the Nintendo Switch this spring.

The Wii U platformer Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is coming to the Switch with Funky Kong as a new playable character.

However, had EA jumped on the Nintendo Switch train early like its competitors did, it would have reaped the massive early success they had with their releases. The second mode is Find It, where players will attempt to find balloons hidden by other players. The games that are coming to the Switch includes a new Mario Tennis title and ports of The Worlds Ends With You, updates to Odyssey, perhaps most unexpectedly, Dark Souls, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and Payday 2.

SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy was announced, it will feature an all-female ensemble.

The deepest fan-pleaser cut has to be The World Ends With You, a quirky DS cult hit with a great soundtrack and great modern aesthetic.

Nintendo showed off new footage from Payday 2, which comes to Switch on February 27.

Dark Souls is a third-person role-playing game which takes place in an open world connected by a central area known as the Firelink Shire.
