Julia Louis-Dreyfus receives support from sons on last day of chemotherapy

"BEAT IT! Love, Henry and Charlie", the text read following the hilarious lip-sync.

The actress has been married since 1987 to Saturday Night Live comedian Brad Hall, whom she met while at Northwestern University, and they have two sons, Henry and Charles. "Pretty swell, right? Ain't they sweet?" the Veep star captioned the post.

But her joy was shortlived when, two weeks later, the beloved actress announced via social media that she was battling breast cancer.

Back in September 2017, Julia Louis-Dreyfus revealed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer. "Today, I'm the one", she said at the time.

"We have every confidence she will get through this with her usual tenacity and undaunted spirit, and look forward to her return to health and to HBO for the final season of Veep".

Louis-Dreyfus won the Emmy for the series five years in a row - 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.

"We're obviously postponing production of the show - we were supposed to have started now - while she's in treatment". "But the expectation is that we will shoot again. We have one more season we're doing, which we're incredibly excited about", executive producer Frank Rich said.

Even then, Louis-Dreyfus kept her signature sense of humor, captioning a pic of various fluid bags, "Getting ready for the holidays with my awesome Xmas cocktail".
