Man United boss Jose Mourinho discusses feud with Antonio Conte

The Italian coach is being tipped to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, despite making a huge impact on the club.

Kenedy emerged through the youth ranks of Vasco da Gama and Fluminense and after having played for the senior side of the latter, he was signed by Chelsea in the summer of 2015.

The 47-year-old won two La Liga titles and the Champions League in his three seasons in charge at the Nou Camp before quitting last year. With Conte evidently lacking faith in the ability of backup striker Michy Batshuayi, which has probably knocked the 24-year-old's confidence and limited his effectiveness when he has been deployed, as Morata's toils up front have continued so have Chelsea's.

"I can give my opinion to my club for every situation, then they have to make the best decision and that is right", he said.

Jan 4, 2018: Mourinho suggested that he has mellowed over the years, unlike the likes of Conte.

"He shouldn't back down because when he walks in [the Chelsea] dressing room, the players are going to go insane; he's going to get an applause from everyone".

Pressure has been piling on Mourinho since United's wayward form following derby defeat to rivals City, after which an infamous tunnel bust up broke out. "But remember, when you wind Mourinho up, he's very clever in these debate situations". Then he insulted me for a second time, but now I change.

Antonio Conte is unconcerned by Jose Mourinho stating he has "contempt" for the Chelsea head coach, seemingly bringing an end to their war of words.

Mourinho said: "I don't know if it's ethical or correct to be speaking about players of other clubs".

He said: "I think this season it's very important to understand that it's not always who spends more money who wins".

"I remember with Ranieri when he [Mourinho] offended him for his English", added Conte.

And, asked about Mourinho's most recent comments following Saturday's goalless draw with Leicester, Conte said: "I think that I said (I'd) stop the story".

One manager not under consideration is former boss Carlo Ancelotti. I am happy in what I am doing now and what I did in the past.

City are favourites to sign Sanchez, who is out of contract at the end of this season and has made clear he has no intention of staying at Arsenal.
