Rob Lowe slams Bella Thorne for insensitve tweet

"Bella, I am sorry you were inconvenienced".

Search teams were looking Thursday for at least eight people reported missing after a series of mudslides in Southern California.

A few hours after Thorne posted her tweet, Lowe shared a screenshot of her post on Instagram along with the caption, "This attitude is why people hate celebrities/Hollywood".

Bella Thorne has said she "had no idea" that a motorway in California was closed due to a deadly mudslide in the area.

There have been a number of deaths in Montecito, a wealthy area of Santa Barbara in which a number of celebrities live, including Lowe, Oprah Winfrey, Jeff Bridges and Ellen DeGeneres.

'I'm sure all of the people who died from the mudslides are very concerned with your irritation of missing your boyfriend's concert, ' a third said. "You encouraging other people to use their voice and I think that is heroic". "We will try to move out our dead quicker", he wrote.

On Thursday, Lowe shared a screen capture of Throne's tweet on his Instagram account and scathingly excoriated her comment. She then had a change in heart and encouraged her followers to "get home to your family safe".

"More bad stories of loss today". Pray for Montecito and know: EVERY day could be your last.

Thorne later posted that she had caught up on news and had learned about the mudslides.

Former Disney star Bella took to Sunday alleging that she had been repeatedly molested in her own bedroom but declining to say who the perpetrator was.

According to Daily Mail, 100 homes have been destroyed and an additional 300 have been damaged.

"We know that this is a terribly inconvenient development, but it is also incredibly necessary", he said, adding that emergency responders are "searching for a miracle".
