Tennessee Titans: Bill Belichick Works His Black Magic Again

Tennessee Titans: Bill Belichick Works His Black Magic Again

When the New England Patriots step back onto the field on Saturday, it will have been two weeks since they had a moment of game action. Tennessee is better on defence than the Chiefs but not even close offensively. They've played under pressure.

With the Patriots once again surrounded by controversy, Bill Belichick has adopted his favorite mantra as the defending Super Bowl champions prepare for Saturday night's divisional round playoff game against the Titans. With starting running back DeMarco Murray out with an injury, Henry played almost every snap and rushed for 156 yards and a TD on 23 carries and caught two balls for 35 yards. The Titans should feed him at least 25-30 times and give him an opportunity to wear out the Patriots defense and keep them in the game.

"If I tell Coach [Dick] LeBeau what to expect, guy's got 80 years on me in football experience", Ryan said of the Titans' defensive coordinator.

"Fate whispers to the warrior, 'You can not withstand the storm.' The warrior whispers back, 'I am the storm.' - Unknown" was the cryptic message that greeted Brady's 3.3 million Instagram followers one day this week. This is especially true in the playoffs as unnoticed players tend to make plays throughout the game that can often decide the contest.

In the Pats' two worst outings of the season (the 42-27 loss to Kansas City on opening night and the 27-20 Monday night loss in Miami last month), the Pats were shredded by an opposing running back. It's worth noting that Jackson has played extremely well, settling in as a corner who can play inside and outside, even earn man-to-man assignments like covering Kansas City's Tyreek Hill and returning punts and kicks. A panel of National Football League execs breaks down the Falcons-Eagles, Titans-Patriots, Jaguars-Steelers and Saints-Vikings matchups.

"We spotted those a-holes a day and a half", Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said of the Patriots in the infamous Facebook Live video shot in the locker room after the win over the Chiefs. "For me, he's helped me out". "I can still get a little better, but it feels good to be out there". If that happens, I'll certainly let you know as soon as possible. Against the Patriots, he is going to need to do the same.

Hogan missed the final three games of the season.

"He's going to make plays", said center Maurkice Pouncey. "He certainly has delivered on his part of the deal". One of the biggest keys for the Titans will center on how well they perform in the red zone, where the Titans ranked 25th in the regular season. He's played well for them.

"He does a good job of taking care of the ball, period", Belichick said of the No. 2 overall pick in 2015. "He's a very smart, instinctive, aware player". But just as the Patriots have done when those and other debates have flared, Belichick has managed to put a lid on the emotions, and the Patriots have responded with brilliant seasons - a lot of them ending with Super Bowl rings.

"I think the main thing is we know how teams are trying to attack us because they'll look at the success that other mobile quarterbacks might have had against us", Patriots safety Duron Harmon said.
