Chelsea misfire again in goalless draw with Leicester

Chelsea 2-0 Leicester: The Blues have won their last seven league games at Stamford Bridge and the Foxes are winless in their last 12 games against the "big 6" so I can't see past a routine home win this weekend.

Chelsea, who drew 0-0 in two cup games before Saturday's return to the league, improved after coach Antonio Conte replaced Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas with Pedro and Willian in the 58th minute.

They were soon given a major boost for the final 20 minutes as Leicester were reduced to 10-men, as the impressive Chilwell was given his marching orders for two yellow cards in the space of five minutes, his second for a late challenge on Victor Moses.

The 48-year-old said: "I saw a lot of players that looked exhausted".

The draw leaves them 15 points adrift of leaders Manchester City, who play today at Liverpool, and Conte believed his side had suffered from having to play on Wednesday while Leicester had not been in action since last Saturday.

The visitors enjoyed the best chances in the first half, with Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez being too much for the Blues' defence for most of the opening 45 minutes, but the Foxes were unable to find a way through.

Speaking after the match, the Italian said, "I think the problem is for the team, not only for Morata. We have great players also and quality in the squad and a great attitude all the time in training sessions on the pitch", said Claude Puel. "This is the history of this club for the manager".

Crystal Palace continued their remarkable recovery under Roy Hodgson as they moved up to 12th in the table with a 1-0 victory over Burnley thanks to Bakary Sako's goal.

Dennis Wise is tipping Arsenal to finish outside the top four places in the Premier League once again this season.

Jonny Evans and Craig Dawson scored to secured a 2-0 win for West Bromwich Albion over Brighton & Hove Albion - their rirst victory in 21 league games.
