Poch hails Spurs' belief since defeat to City

I've seen a lot of fantastic Son performances since the South Korean joined Spurs in 2015, few of which better than his near flawless display this evening.

This seemed to put the fire into Tottenham as Son scored the opening not long after.

The South Korea global also managed to match a record during the victory, when he scored his fifth successive Spurs home Premier League game.

Spurs stay fifth, behind fourth-placed Liverpool on goals scored; they will move ahead of the Reds if they lose to Manchester City on Sunday.

Mauricio Pochettino's men doubled their lead two minutes after the break with Son the provider.

Kane now has 98 league goals for the club after hitting his 19th and 20th of the current campaign and Pochettino was full of praise for the England worldwide.

Not for the first time this season, Kane has broken a record.

Spurs eased in to the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 3-0 victory over AFC Wimbledon last weekend but their focus will be firmly on Premier League matters tomorrow. He can achieve all he wishes and he wants.

"He's unbelievable, the way he's able to work, his willingness".

"He is always thinking "improve, improve, improve and how to score goals and to improve the team" because his mentality is always collective and that is so important to explain to people".

"Too many of our players decided not to defend any more when Tottenham had the ball".

"These boys are great, they set me up and we've got to keep going and winning games".

Chelsea was unable to pierce Leicester's defence even after visiting left-back Ben Chilwell was sent off for a second bookable offense midway through the second half. I saw some of the good sides of the players last week and I saw some of their worst sides in the second half today, which is massively worrying in terms.

He has now won six Premier League Player of the Month awards.

"The disappointing thing for us is, what would the game have finished like had we scored the first goal when Wayne's got disallowed?"
