EMUI 8 with Android Oreo lands on Honor 8 Pro in India

The carrier's webpage further reads "T-Mobile and the device manufacturer have agreed to support a new software update", which is Oreo 8.0.

Finally, Samsung is rolling out the Android Oreo update for their S8-series devices, well "Better late than never".

According to the support pages for the Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+, and Note 5 listed on T-Mobile, a popular carrier in the U.S., it has been noted that Oreo updates for the phones are in development. New sources suggest that other Samsung devices of the year 2015, will also receive the same Android Oreo update in the coming days. Both the 2017 flagships received their Oreo updates only yesterday, but that's how it's always been with Samsung devices. The company is yet to provide the list of devices due to receive the Android Oreo update. We are hoping that Samsung rolls-out the Oreo update for all variants of its 2015 flagship phones for users across the globe. USA carrier had tipped this development on its official website.

The software update in question is Android 8.0 Oreo, and the T-Mobile support pages state: "Phase: Complete". While we still don't know what's happening in Samsung's labs, there's a high chance that these Galaxy and Note models will eventually receive Android Oreo updates. Surprisingly this is the month and we are seeing reports about Oreo update for Galaxy S Series devices.

The update weighs in close to 3 GB and brings VoLTE support to Vodafone and Jio users, along with the usual suite of EMUI 8 and Oreo features. The giant has already released four different types of Android Oreo's Beta update in the past. May be, they will release the update silently without any announcement.
