House Oversight Committee opens investigation into USA Gymnastics following Nassar scandal

Raisman, who is Jewish and the victor of numerous Olympic medals, including several golds, spoke Thursday in an interview with CNN.

A GoFundMe account established for Randall Margraves will issue refunds to those who want them, according to its organizer.

"I sincerely hope the courageous survivors of Larry Nassar will see this as unmistakable indication that things are changing quickly at Michigan State", said Engler, who took over as interim president on January 31, in a statement released Friday afternoon. "After giving people the chance to get a refund, the donations will go to organizations that help the sisterhood of survivors and other victims of abuse".

"I appreciate everyone stepping up to support me, but help is not needed for me". "I said last week that their efforts would not be in vain". Torok said funds would go to help survivors of childhood sexual trauma gain access to holistic healing services in Lansing, Michigan.

Eaton County Sheriff spokeswoman Jerri Nesbitt said people have come to them with complaints about Geddert. "We're all shocked and deeply saddened by this tragedy".

In its letter to USA Gymnastics, which was addressed to Kerry Perry, the organization's president and CEO, the Reform Committee said USA Gymnastics is "at the center" of those responsible for Nassar's "reprehensible conduct" going "undetected or ignored for years". When the judge told him that would not be possible, Margraves lunged at Nassar, but was restrained by security. Law enforcement officials in MI said they are investigating complaints against him.

Nassar, the once-renowned doctor for USA Gymnastics, Michigan State University and Twistars, has admitted to using his position as a trusted doctor to sexually abuse young girls under the guise of providing medical treatment. "I'm definitely calmed down".

After being hailed a hero for his actions on social media, a GoFundMe page was launched to show him and his family support for their actions.

After the incident, Margraves held a press conference, apologizing for his behavior, stating how he did not deserve to be considered a hero. A final decision on criminal charges has not yet been made by the prosecutor, but Margraves' attorney Mick Grewel says they are optimistic there will be no criminal charges.
