Loosen those belts because McDonald's has launched a GIANT Big Mac

New and limited-edition Mac Jr.: Made with the all same iconic ingredients (with one less patty), the Mac smaller than a Big Mac, but still packs a pickle.

While a Big Mac may only put you out $4-or $6 if you make it a combo-the reportedly $12,500 Bling Mac ring is an entirely different story.

It has two bigger all-beef patties, two slices of cheese, more lettuce, the McDonalds signature burger sauce and onions on a huge sesame bun.

The Grand Big Mac will set you back £3.99 and 741 calories, while the normal one costs £2.99 and comes in at 508 calories.

If you're a Big Mac fan and fancy trying the special edition versions you'll have to grab one soon as they are only available from February 7 until March 20.

The fast-food restaurant, based in Oak Brook, is giving away a "Bling Mac" ring in honor of its three new sizes: Big Mac, Grand Big Mac and the Mac Jr.

The team behind those famous Golden Arches is stepping outside the fast-food box this holiday with a Valentine's Day contest that will see the first-prize victor taking home the "Bling Mac" - a dazzling, bejeweled ring shaped like - get this - an actual Big Mac! These "Big Mac Vows" are to be submitted on Twitter, and the person who will be able to come up with the most creative entry will win a "Bling Mac".

The new addition come as the Big Mac, which was first created in 1968, celebrates its 50th birthday.
