Vegas Predicts Where LeBron James Will Play In 2018-19

As the dust settles, it appears that Koby Altman has built a team that is engineered around LeBron James and what he does best.

Teams already are lining up for an audience with The King should he turn down $36.5 million and opt out of his contract. The Cavaliers organization chose to trade Thomas to the Lakers for Clarkson and Nance Jr on Thursday afternoon in a trade which had the world talking.

Cleveland is just 7-13 since Christmas Day, and the club's slide has coincided with Thomas' comeback.

With the NBA Trade Deadline now come and gone, all of the focus shifts to whether or not LeBron James will leave Cleveland once again in the off-season.

LW: Who, or what position, would you say the Cavs have their targets on in the 2018 NBA Draft after these moves?

All it took was a massive makeover.

The Philips Arena crowd was loud and in unison when Tristan Thompson went to the line to shoot two free throws in the first quarter.

Cleveland defeated Boston in five games in last year's Eastern Conference Finals.

Lue tweaked his rotations against the Timberwolves, giving more minutes to rookie Cedi Osman, who provided an infusion of needed energy.

"This is the National Basketball Association and the reality of the National Basketball Association is we are built around chaos and drama, we deal with it every day and more drama is coming". He has been part of a special group of teammates on and off the court for us, as his impacts were both tangible and intangible. That came after weeks of uninspiring play by the Cavs and locker room dysfunction, but Cleveland hopes the deals they made on Thursday will right the ship.

Cavs coach Tyronn Lue was back on the sideline after leaving Tuesday's loss in Orlando in the first half with an unspecified illness. They've been replaced by Rodney Hood, Larry Nance Jr., Jordan Clarkson and George Hill.

"You make a trade and you want it to succeed, like anything else", Altman said in assessing the Thomas-for-Irving deal. Did it fit? Did it work? "It was us being cognizant of 'Hey, the hot guy's open, get it to him immediately.' And it worked out that way".

They're expected to practice Saturday, so long as all players involved in Thursday's trades - including former Cavs Isaiah Thomas, Iman Shumpert, Channing Frye, and Jae Crowder - pass physicals.

Cleveland also sent Dwyane Wade back to the Miami Heat, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. According to Bleacher Report, the trade deal was a big win for both the Cavaliers and Lakers for each acquiring critically acclaimed players in their rosters. "The trade deadline is always a hard time for everybody".

Every season there are players and teams that seem to orbit each other for a myriad of reasons.

Altman feels the trades will rejuvenate James.

"Absolutely why we made a decision to do what we did now", Altman said. It will take some time to do that but we've got the All-Star break coming up.

"I'm exhausted of being traded". He has not given the Cavs a long-term commitment in order to keep pressure on owner Dan Gilbert to continue to upgrade the roster.
