Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S specs sheet along with design leaked

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S specs sheet along with design leaked

The specs sheet, which revealed key information on the phone's form factor, claimed that the new Mi MIX 2S could feature Full Screen 3.0 design, indicating that the device would be a higher screen-to-body ratio than that of the existing Mi MIX 2.

However, the Mi 7 was supposed to be announced at the MWC 2018 later this months but due to some reasons, that won't happen anymore. This would be a revised version of last year's sequel to the Xiaomi Mi Mix. The Mi Mix 2s would replace the Snapdragon 835 chipset used on the Mi Mix 2, with the new Snapdragon 845 mobile platform. The battery capacity gets a major bump on Mi 7 to 4480 mAh from 3350 mAh on its predecessor.

According to the image, the Mi 7 will have a 5.65-inch 1080p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, and 8GB RAM. The photos indicate that the device will feature nearly no bezels on all the sides, and will get a small notch on the right corner of the screen, where the selfie shooter will be placed. Contrary to earlier reports, the company is not likely to launch its flagship Mi 7 smartphone during the tech expo. It also reveals that it will be featuring an under-display fingerprint scanner.

The leaked sketch and specs suggest that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S will flaunt a ceramic body. Instead, Xiaomi is going to present the Mi MIX 2S, rivaling the other premium devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Sony Xperia XZ2 Pro, NDTV reported. The device is also expected to sport 8GB of RAM and high-speed 256GB UFS Internal Storage.

We advise you to take this design and specs with a pinch of salt as the authenticity of the leak is not guaranteed. The camera setup will include two 12-megapixel sensors for enabling Optical Zoom.

Xiaomi will be bringing an 18:9 panel to its 2018 flagship and as per the screenshot, the display would measure 5.6 inches diagonally. What is certain is that any Xiaomi smartphone launched in 2018 will run MIUI 9 and not an older version.
