PadMan Star Radhika Apte Shares Her Period Story

PadMan was initially slated to release on January 25, but the makers chose to shift the film's release for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat.

Notably, the controversy-laden film Padmaavat was released by Pakistan's Censor Board without any cuts but the board members are hesitant to even watch the Sonam Kapoor, Radhika Apte and Akshay Kumar-starrer and advised the distributors IMGC to not purchase film's rights. The second-day collections of the movie are out and the extraordinary tale of an ordinary man is picking up pace at box office.

According to the box office collection reports, Aiyaary earned Rs 7 crore on day 1.

The makers have taken care of the entertainment quotient in the film and thus it's likely to appeal the family audience.

The story is based on the life of real-life PadMan Arunachalam Muruganantham, who invented low-priced sanitary napkins for the woman in his village, and was even honoured on national and global levels for the same, though after many difficulties.
