It Looks like Samsung's Galaxy S9 Will Have a Headphone Jack

This development comes after a new set of press renders were leaked, which were actually meant to display the new DeX Pad that might be launched for the Galaxy S9 series. The second image showing the Galaxy S9 mounted on the DeX Pad, also shows the handset to sport a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Samsung will be launching its next flagship smartphones, Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus on 25th February in Barcelona.

Android 8.0 Oreo was released back in August of a year ago, but it has taken Samsung many months to even begin an official beta program for the update.

In the meantime, how about some official Galaxy S9 covers? Google has even stuck to that rule in the past, with the Pixel 2 being the company's first phone with three years of promised Android updates.

The Samsung Hyperknit cover. The text reveals that one of the variants of the Galaxy S9+ will have 128GB of onboard storage. Those more cautious about dropping their Galaxy S9+, meanwhile, might prefer to opt for the Protective Standard Cover, which supports MIL-STD-810G-516.7 military-specification ruggedness. We're expecting third-party covers and cases to be widely available, running the gamut from rugged options from Otterbox, through to more low-key leather wraps and models with space for money, credit cards, and more.

It looks like Samsung has taken the consumer and critics feedback about the near-perfect Galaxy S8 positively and duly made the changes to the fingerprint sensor location in its successor Galaxy S9 series.
