Reuben Foster arrested on domestic violence charges

Reuben Foster has been arrested for the second time in as many months, this time on domestic violence charges in Santa Clara County.

The San Jose Mercury News reported that Foster's charges also include suspicion of possessing an assault rifle.

The report stated that Foster, 23, was arrested in Los Gatos, Calif. and is now being held on $75,000 bail.

The Los Gatos Police Department made the arrest and has not yet returned calls to address it, per the report. The rookie was previously arrested and charged with second-degree possession of marijuana in January.

Foster is coming off of a productive rookie season with the 49ers.

Forty-Niners linebacker Reuben Roster has been arrested for the second time in less than a month after an incident on Sunday in California. He was also kicked out of the National Football League combine after an altercation with a hospital employee.

Foster has issues leading up to the NFL Draft. But in the second half of the season, Foster was on the field for every game, and San Francisco went 6-2. However, the 49ers traded up to select him No. 31 overall after he fell because of character and medical concerns. "We take matters of this nature seriously and are gathering all pertinent information". Last spring, cornerback Tramaine Brock was arrested on domestic violence and immediately cut by the team. "I think you let those things happen organically and we did what we felt was the right situation in that situation".
