The film deserves all the blessing and love - Deepika Padukone

Audiences across the globe are showering huge love on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Padmaavat". Using the hashtag #PromiseToDeepika fans managed to draw the attention of Deepika Padukone. The impeccable performances of the lead actors in the movie have been appreciated by one and sundry. However, on Bhansali's request, Akshay postponed the release of his film. Earlier, Padman and Padmaavat were to clash at the box office when the release date of both the films was January 25. While in the 2 week the film has earned approximately Rs.65 crore.

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's latest outing Padmaavat has hit the right chord amongst the viewers as it is going super strong at the box office. Another fun-filled masala entertainer by director Rohit Shetty, the movie brought a lot of money for everyone involved with the project. Even though he played the antagonist in the film, the unanimous verdict is that he stole the spotlight from co-stars, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor.

Deepika Padukone to ditch Ranveer Singh on Valentine's Day. It will be interesting to see how Padmaavat faces competition at the box office.

Ranveer Singh walked away with all the laurels for his fantastic portrayal of Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat and we hear that Shahid Kapoor is not too pleased with Ranveer totally overshadowing him in the movie. Yes, we are talking about Bajirao Mastani which earned Rs 184.2 crore. The film distributors and theatre owners in the city had two days back, agreed to screen the film on February 9 after the state government assured to provide adequate security cover.
