The phone is priced at INR 13,999 for 4GB RAM, 64GB storage variant and INR 16,999 for 6GB RAM, 64GB storage variant. The Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro users will get these vouchers after they first recharge with the Rs. 198 or Rs. 299 plan. Weight should be 181 g. It's the first smartphone to use Qualcomm's latest mid-range chip, the Snapdragon 636, and other improvements over the standard Note 5 include Bluetooth 5.o and a 20MP front-facing cameras for those all-important selfies.

Both, the Redmi Note 5 as well as the Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with the same 5.99-inch display and have the FullHD+ resolutions while the Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with a slightly better contrast ratio at 1500:1 vs 1000:1 found on the Redmi Note 5 according to the spec sheet. Unlike the Redmi Note 5 smartphone, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a dual rear cameras as Primary Cameras.

Xiaomi, famous for launching high-quality products at affordable prices, has introduced the 55-inch Mi TV 4 in India at an incredible price of Rs. 39,999/- which makes it a great 4K Ultra HD TV for its affordability. The Redmi Note 5 Pro is priced at INR13,999.

To bolster its offerings, Xiaomi has partnered with local and regional content producing brands like Hotstar, Voot, Sony Liv, Hungama Play, Zee 5, Alt Balaji, The Viral Fever, etc. But coming back to the smartphones, the new Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro models will be exclusively available via Flipkart in the country, apart from Mi.com and the Mi Home retail stores. It will be powered by a 4,000maH battery capacity.

In the meantime, Comio launched two budget smartphones in India on Thursday. It bears a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. Xiaomi offers different color variants of this device with Black, Gold, Rose Gold, and Blue.

Xiaomi claims the camera on Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is the best they have shipped in India. The phone offers a 4,000 mAh of battery capacity and there is no fast charging option and no USB-C port available. The cameras also feature an LED flash light. The front camera on the OnePlus 5T smartphone is 16MP.
