Akande had said they did not visit Buhari for political reasons but to condole with him over the loss of his family members.

"We have a cardinal call that if President Muhammadu Buhari does not come out and make a public statement before Monday (February 19), we will be forced to go to court and invite him to come to court and make a public statement that he is recontesting for President come 2019", the DYC national chairman said.

NAN observed that the meeting of the APC Governors' Forum with President Buhari was first of its kind outside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Blueprint Weekend can report that no fewer than 12 state chapters of the party are now embroiled in one wrangling or the other but the mostly pronounced is the Kaduna, Kano and Kogi states respectively. The APC controls the majority of the members of the National Assembly.

One of them, Hajiya Halima Dauda who was buried in the President's hometown of Daura was described by Mr Shehu as the President's niece and younger sister to his close associate Mamman Daura.

President Buhari had left Abuja on Thursday and departed for Kaduna before proceeding to Daura ahead of the meeting and might tell the governors whether or not he would contest the 2019 presidential elections.
