Flatulent wind blows Dubai flight to emergency landing

The matter was reported to the Transavia Airlines crew and the pilot of the plane ordered the passenger to control flatulence as it annoyed other passengers.

There has been some speculation about whether the exceedingly flatulent man was doing this intentionally to goad passengers or was suffering from an unspecified medical condition. When he allegedly refused to stop, a fight broke out.

Australian police boarded the plane in Vienna and took the four men involved in their possession and took them off the plane.

The police pulled two men and two young women from Rotterdam from the plane.

On landing, police then boarded the aircraft after reports about "passengers on the rampage" and four people were removed from the flight.

A flight enroute from Dubai to Amsterdam was forced to make an unscheduled stop in Vienna, Austria, after an elderly overweight passenger reportedly refused to contain himself, leading to a brawl mid-air. However, things got so out of hands the pilot decided to make an emergency landing at the Vienna International airport.

A video clip of the incident went viral after it was shared on social media by Alfred Dekker.

None of the individuals were arrested by the police however, as they had not broken any Austrian laws.

Two sisters who have claimed no involvement were also lead out of the plane, as they were seated in the same row.

Nora L said: 'It was insane that we were included, we had no idea who these boys were, we just had the bad luck to be in the same row and we didn't do anything'.

Meanwhile, a spokesman for the airline said, "Our crew must ensure a safe flight".

A spokesman for Transavia Airlines later told local media that these passengers would not be accepted for future company travel. When there is some risk for the passengers, the crew intervenes into the situation. "They know very well where the boundaries are", he said.
