Four players involved in West Brom "training camp incident" come forward

Four players involved in West Brom

West Brom have now released an official statement confirming that there has indeed been an incident involving a quartet of senior players, with disciplinary procedures likely to follow.

Also, the club terminated the contracts of chairman John Williams and chief executive Martin Goodman on Tuesday.

- Since his debut for West Brom in August 2015, Rondon has scored 25 goals in all competitions - 15 more than any other Baggies player in that time.

West Brom's magnificently very bad season has just sunk another notch after the club confirmed that four senior players have been suspended over an "incident" which occurred during a team trip to Barcelona this week.

West Brom pulled a goal back through a superb left-foot volley by Salomon Rondon from the edge of the area off Grzegorz Krychowiak's lofted through-ball.

West Brom are bottom of the Premier League, seven points adrift of safety, but were taken to Spain this week by head coach Alan Pardew in a bid to revive the club's flagging fortunes.

Some frustrated Albion fans booed when Barry sloppily gave away possession at the start of the second half, while a few more jeers were audible when the former England worldwide was replaced after 72 minutes.

"It will be a tough game for Southampton because we're in the mood for a game I can tell you".

"But I felt I needed to make a little bit of a statement about the events".

Two of the dubbed "taxi four" started against Southampton, with Evans and Barry named in the team, although Evans appeared to have been stripped of the captaincy as Gareth McAuley skippered the side. "I'll have to have a look at that this week and see how we go".

The Midlands club are now bottom of the Premier League, seven points from safety.

"We were so unlucky go two down in one of our best periods, they broke up the other end and got a second goal". It can help us to believe more in our improvements since January. Pellegrino added. "For us it is important to move to the next round to help the club and help the players and the manager and supports and fans, everyone is happy". "The way they stayed with us, and I want to thank them publicly for doing that".

"I am an experienced manager and will try to get us out of this situation". The teams shared five goals just a fortnight ago, and four of WBA's last six games have featured at least three goals.
