Groves and Eubank Jr. entertained the fans at public workout in Manchester

Boxing fans are buzzing at the moment ahead of Saturday night's world super-middleweight title fight.

Chris Eubank Jr says his world title fight against WBA super-middleweight champion George Groves will enable him to come out of his father's shadow and stamp his mark on the sport. He will be fresher, possibly sharper and despite the boxing ability of George Groves I think that the further the fight goes, the more it's Eubank's fight.

"I've accepted that there's never going to be a stage, it doesn't matter what I do, where there won't be comparisons, where there won't be people saying, "oh no, his dad was better".

Eubank has been made a marginal favourite for the...

"Two world titles, that's every fighter's dream and it's just the beginning - it's collection season, I'm coming for all the belts".

Despite holding the WBA title, which he won in May 2017 with a stoppage victory over Fedor Chudinov, Groves heads into the fight as the narrow underdog.

Langford has lost just one of his 20 fights, picking up the British strap with a split decision win over Sam Sheedy in 2016.

"Groves-Eubank is a good fight, a very good one". "The cornermen give me water: I do the rest, I train myself, I know what I'm doing".

The Groves vs. Eubank Jr card, starting at 2 p.m. ET, will air live in Canada, exclusively on Super Channel.

"You are even wearing the same suit that I wore when we had our first face-off, hyping the fight".

While he played down suggestions of the importance of this fight to him, Groves rubbished Eubank Jr. questioning his desire.

'This is easier than the DeGale fight, both Froch fights and the Badou Jack fight'.

Eubank Jr. has long awaited an opportunity to breakout and has described the fight against Groves, which -- should he win -- will see him back in the ring at the O2 Arena in London on June 2, as the biggest of his career to date. It's a meaningful fight, a fight I've got to pay attention to. He will also bring a lot of experience and confidence now he is a world champion, but I think we are all aware of that.

"Junior is flapping already, he is a cliche, he is a gimmick", he said.

"It's an all-black cast and, hopefully, they continue down this route and give other creeds and colours more time on the silver screen".

He said: "You've called me a "gimmick" and "Insta-famous" and you are obsessed with this whole - trying to get across to the public that I'm not real".
