Manohar Parrikar discharged from Mumbai hospital

Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has been discharged from Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital and arrived in Goa on Thursday.

Parrikar has arrived in Goa. "All prayers have been heard. He could be taken to the U.S. if need be", Lobo told reporters at the state assembly complex on Monday.

The Budget session of the Goa Legislative Assembly, which began on February 19, saw an unexpected delay in wake of Parrikar's ailment, who was undergoing treatment for pancreatitis at the hospital. He is currently at home now.

Manohar Parrikar was admitted in Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai after his health determinate earlier this month.

Even though his condition was said to be stable, the chief minister couldn't attend the Budget Session 2018.

On Sunday, Lilavati Hospital issued a statement stating, "It has been brought to our notice that various malicious and misleading reports/rumours are floating around in the electronic/print media with regards to the health of Hon". Meanwhile, a special mass has been planned on Saturday for Parrikar by "well-wishers of all faiths" at 11 am at Mary Immaculate Conception Church, Panaji reads a statement from the state government.

The GFP with three legislators, along with two independents and three MLAs of Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) had inked a post-poll pact with the BJP to form government in the state past year.

He is also scheduled to address a press conference in the evening. Parrikar is expected to table the budget today.
