Arizona police arrest bride for DUI on her way to the wedding

Amber Young was wearing an open-back dress when she was handcuffed and put into a police cruiser Monday in Marana, 30 miles north of Tucson.

A bride-to-be in Arizona has so much to worry about after her wedding day turned out to be a sad day following her arrest en-route to the solemnization venue, for allegedly Driving Under the Influence (DUI).

When officers arrived at the scene of the crash, one person had been transported with minor injuries.

Marana Police Sergeant Chriswell Scott tweeted a photo of Young being arrested on her big day captioned "til death do we part doesn't need any help".

She was handcuffed and put into the back of a police auto at 10.30am yesterday in Marana, Arizona, 30 miles north of Tuscon. Young has apparently not spoken so far with any media outlets in the aftermath of the incident - nor evidently has any legal counsel that she might have retained.

Scott also said the 32-year-old did not take a breath test so there are no preliminary blood alcohol concentration (BAC) results.

It is not known if Young made it to her wedding in time.
