Currently, the Vikings front office has said their primary target is landing Kirk Cousins out of Washington, and would have Teddy Bridgewater as their second option.

That monster deal reportedly is a three-year contract for $91 million, fully guaranteed.

The Arizona Cardinals will begin free agency by targeting quarterback Kirk Cousins and guard Andrew Norwell, reports 98.7 FM Arizona's Sports Station's Mike Jurecki. Or maybe they just forgot to include the Broncos and Cardinals in the tags.

The #Vikings have been considered to be in the driver's seat for Kirk Cousins and that hasn't changed (yet). Having a quarterback that can help us become a more efficient offense and help us score more points and not turn the ball over, that can only help us get better. "Coach Gruden, Bruce Allen, Dan Snyder", Cousins said. He led the team to an 11-3 record and an appearance in the NFC Championship Game, throwing 22 touchdowns with only seven interceptions in this stretch.

Washington in those three seasons went 9-7, which was good enough for a playoff wild-card berth, 8-7-1 and 7-9.

The Redskins selected Cousins in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft, before watching him push his way into the starting lineup.

While penning his farewell letter to the Washington Redskins, the former Pro Bowl quarterback tagged two National Football League teams at the bottom of the post: the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Jets. Drew Mahowald explored the chances he lands in Minnesota. The teams are not named, although the New York Jets for some time have been rumored to be a team willing to offer that. McCown would not be an expensive signing for the Jets, who could look to spend the money elsewhere.

"We all understand on how the quarterback position has a direct influence on how your team plays", Joseph said in February.

But none of the last 12, first-round quarterbacks of the previous five drafts reached the playoffs in year one.

In a goodbye letter to Redskins fans that was released on his website Monday afternoon, Cousins tagged the Jets and Vikings.
