Chicago Bears Reportedly Lure Star Wideout

Robinson, who missed nearly the entire season in 2017 due to a torn ACL he suffered in Week 1, reportedly intends to sign with the Chicago Bears when the new league year begins on Wednesday, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. However, he has proven talent with more than 2,200 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns from 2015-16.

If you didn't have a chance to read that, take a look (LINK). He bounced back with a huge second National Football League season, setting a Jaguars record with 14 touchdown catches among 80 for 1,400 yards in 2015.

He suffered a season-ending torn ACL and sprained MCL in his left knee in the third preseason game past year but is expected to be on the field when training camp begins. After that, restricted free agents who earn tenders are only allowed to negotiate with the franchise they played for this past season. Kendall Wright led Chicago with 59 receptions for 614 yards with one touchdown last season as their top two receivers, Kevin White and Cameron Meredith, both went down to season-ending injuries.

Robinson also expressed interest in moving to Chicago. They reportedly were targeting Sammy Watkins, too, but the former No. 4 overall pick is heading to Matt Nagy's former team, the Chiefs, according to ESPN and NFL Network, with a contract that is worth more per year than Robinson's. Robinson is the type of player who can make sideline catches and be a weapon in the red zone. His per-catch average also dropped by 5.4 yards from 2015 to 2016. Wide receiver has been a trouble spot for him, with Meredith being the only true bright spot at the position.

Those misses at receiver set up this offseason for it to be priority No. 1, and Pace got the No.1 guy.
