Clinton on Trump-Putin ties

Hillary Clinton took her global excuses tour to a new low over the weekend; telling a packed audience at a conference in India that "white women" overwhelmingly voted for Donald Trump simply because their husbands forced them to. "I win Illinois, Minnesota, places like that, but what the map doesn't show you is that I won the places that represent two-thirds of America's gross domestic product, so I won the places that are optimistic, diverse, dynamic, moving forward, and his whole campaign 'Make America Great Again, ' was looking backwards".

She explained that her first goal was to help Democrats take back the House of Representatives in the 2018 midterm elections."That would then give us some balance that we desperately need right now", Clinton said. Then she again suggested Trump supporters were motivated by animosity toward women and people of color.

The host of the event pressed Clinton on whether she believes Russian Federation has "something" on Trump.

"No, we did not deserve that", Clinton said when asked if the United States "deserves" Trump as its leader. "You don't like seeing that Indian American succeeding more than you".

Though Clinton won the popular vote by almost 3 million ballots, she lost in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin - three crucial states that cost her the election by about 80,000 votes, combined.

"'You know you didn't like black people getting rights", Clinton said.

Clinton also reflected that in a campaign against a reality TV star perhaps she should have been more "entertaining". By 2020, I don't think there is any way she will be able to do it. Yet this is the picture Clinton painted of Trump's support.
