Chawla also alleged that during the sealing drive, additional deputy commissioner of police Amit Sharma slapped one of his employees.

Hitting back at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over the ongoing sealing drive, Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari today said if the AAP dispensation is committed to find a solution, it should immediately hold a special session of the Assembly and pass a resolution.

At the instance of a Supreme Court-appointed Monitoring Committee sealing actions have been taken by civic bodies across Delhi for violation of civic norms or Master Plan of Delhi 2021.

The sealing drive - being carried out by the three BJP-led city municipal corporations under the guidance of the Monitoring Committee - has been launched against the business establishments using residential properties for commercial purposes and the ones which have not paid conversion charges.

However, leaders from the BJP did not attend the meeting.

"It's very sad that BJP did not come for the meeting but does politics on the issue", Sisodia said.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress MPs will also raise the issue in Parliament, both leaders said.

Earlier in the day, Mr Maken expressed hope that the Government would find a solution to the issue which has affected traders across the city.

Health Minister Satyendar Jain and Development Minister Gopal Rai were among others attending the meeting. The CM requests both the Congress and the BJP to come with us. "Due to BJP-AAP collusion and fake fights, traders are facing a lot of difficulties", the Congress president said in a tweet.

"Stop the drama of allegations and counter-allegations on the issue of sealing in Delhi". The chief secretary Prakash was allegedly assaulted by AAP MLAs during a meeting at the chief minister Kejriwal's residence in the evening of February 19. "Because it is not being done now, there is chaos", Maken said. "We have told them that for each area, the MPD and the existing law has a solution and therefore the ongoing sealing is illegal", Maken said. "The government must make a submission properly in the court with conviction", Maken said.

Notably, a "bandh" is being observed on Tuesday by the traders in the national capital in protest against the sealing drive.

Municipal Corporations are carrying out the drive under the directions of the Supreme Court-appointed monitoring committee.
