Matt Damon, Ben Affleck will support inclusion rider in future deals

On Monday, Fanshen Cox DiGiovanni-the head of strategic outreach at Pearl Street Films, Damon and Affleck's production company-tweeted at Jordan, saying that the company would be following in his footsteps and adopting the rider as well.

And now, his decision has directly inspired a few more big stars: Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.

Frances McDormand's Oscar acceptance speech seems to have made a huge impact on Hollywood. An inclusion rider, as we all discovered on Oscars night, is a clause that an actor can insist be added to their contract.

Black Panther actor Michael B Jordan later pledged to insert an inclusion rider clause into his future movie contracts, with Cox DiGiovanni now sharing Affleck and Damon's announcement in response to that news.

Michael B. Jordan attends the European Premiere of "Black Panther" at Eventim Apollo on February 8, 2018 in London.

At the Oscars, the Best Actress victor made headlines (and got a lot of people Googling) when she ended her acceptance speech with two words: "inclusion rider".

"We all have stories to tell and we need finance", McDormand said. "Don't talk to us about it at the parties... invite us into your office in a couple of days or you can come to ours, whichever suits you best, and we'll tell you all about them", she announced.

The Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri star also took the chance to shine a light on the little-known term, inclusion rider. She's also on the board of the Annenberg Inclusion Initiative, the think tank housed at the University of Southern California that was, conveniently, founded by Dr. Stacy L. Smith, the co-originator of the official inclusion rider.
