Nokia 8 Pro specifications leaked online

Nokia 8 Pro specifications leaked online

Now, it looks like the Nokia 9 will also be added to the list as well, if a new report is true.

Talking about the Nokia smartphones: they are the cheap Nokia 8 Pro and the premium Nokia 9 device. But now a leak has emerged on the Internet which closely points out that the Finnish tech giant, HMD Global, is gearing to launch two smartphones with the Snapdragon 845 chipset this year.

These rumors suggest that the Nokia 9 might come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. But the company has kept two of its most powerful phones of this year for the third quarter. As for the notch, there is no word on whether it will be as big as the iPhone X or along the lines of the Zenfone 5 or the Essential Phone. If it indeed has an in-display fingerprint sensor, then that would make HMD global one of the most popular smartphone manufacturers to make such technology available in certain key markets.

HMD Global, the company that holds the brand license to manufacture and sell Nokia handsets, seems to be jumping on the "notch-sporting-handset" bandwagon. Earlier reports have asserted that the Nokia 9 will get its hands on a best-in-class camera which will top the rumored Nokia 8 Pro's penta-lens module. Now, Nokia 8 Pro smartphone's specifications sheet leaked online which claim that the company may launch the Nokia 8 Pro smartphone very soon. In terms of specs, Nokia 8 Sirocco runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, coupled with a 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Along with these, the company also relaunched it's 22-year-old feature phone Nokia 8110 with the support of 4G services. It has a curved edge-to-edge 5.5-inch pOLED 2K display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. On the connectivity front, it will feature a USB Type C port.

Google with its upcoming Android P is making sure Android OEMs embrace the notch. For the front, there is 13-megapixel selfie camera.
