Vikings' Sam Bradford Is Expected To Sign With Cardinals

The Vikings didn't see any drop-off from Bradford to Keenum, which made it more likely that they'd move on from the 2010 No. 1 pick.

The first few major dominoes have fallen in free agency with the biggest being Pro Bowl quarterback Kirk Cousins reportedly deciding to sign a three-year, fully-guaranteed deal with the Minnesota Vikings.

Speaking of Bridgewater, it appears he may be close to a deal with the New York Jets. He had a solid season for the 8-8 Vikings, throwing for 3,877 yards, 20 touchdowns and five interceptions while completing 71.6 percent of his passes.

It will supposedly have protection for the team in case of injury.

Bradford underwent season-ending knee surgery in November with hopes of curing ligament damage, but the procedure might not have returned him to full fitness.

The Cardinals have been looking for a replacement at quarterback following the retirement of Carson Palmer after the 2017 season.

The Bills and other National Football League teams are allowed to begin negotiating with agents of free agents beginning Monday but can't officially come to terms until 4 p.m on Wednesday. That history suggests the Cardinals will be adding other options at quarterback in free agency and/or the draft to go with Bradford.

Schefter reports defensive back Aaron Colvin will sign a 4-year deal with the Houston Texans.
